While waterless car washing systems or ‘eco-washes’ are not a new concept, we definitely felt there was a gap for an affordable, well-planned product that saves water in India.

The Eco Auto Spaa does exactly that. Using a harmless, water-soluble wax that is sprayed on and wiped off with a micro-fiber cloth, the Eco Auto Spaa uses minimal water and does not add polution to the water system.

  • It saves fresh drinking water by only using 750ml of water per wash to rinse the cloths, in comparison to the usual 200L it takes to wash a car.
  • All of the products used to clean the car are harmless water-soluble products often found in food. This means when it rains or when cloths are cleaned, any of the residue entering back into the water system does not pollute the water.
  • The containers that the products come in are reused continuously so there are minimal manufacturing processes to conserve water and energy.

The Eco Auto Spaa Process

The wax is sprayed onto your vehicle and immediately lifts the dust and dirt off the surface, holding it in suspension, eliminating the danger of scratching the paintwork. A specially selected microfiber cloth is then used to wipe the excess dirt and wax off. The cleaned surface is then buffed with another microfiber cloth leaving it polished, sealed and protected.

How It Works

  • Spray the vehicles with the wax, avoiding the windows and tyres. The wax will stick to dirt and dust, holding it in suspension.
  • Take a microfiber cloth and wipe the wax and dirt off the car, rinsing the cloth occasionally in the machine’s basin. There is no need to scrub or put pressure on the car, reducing the risk of scratches.
  • Take a second microfiber cloth and buff the car. The residue from the wax will create a high shine on the vehicle similar to a chemical based wax.
  • Use the glass, rim and tyre cleaners with the correct colour coded cloths to clean the windows, tyres and headlights and rims. The tyre cleaner requires a sponge rather than a microfiber cloth as it is easier to clean with.

This whole process should take about 25 minutes, whereas a normal car wash can take in excess of 40 minutes.
